32 weeks down and 8 more to go. On calendar weeks, I’ve got 7 full weeks and a few days!!! The last few weeks have been very busy and productive. Since the last time I wrote, I’ve had 2 good doctor’s visits! Today, I measured about where I needed to be unlike last time, I was a little small. But, the doctor assured me today, that because of my long torso, it could be very deceiving about the size of the baby. So we’re going back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound to make sure she’s growing the way she should be!
The nursery is coming right along … we’ve got shelves up now and the closet cleared for her stuff. There’s not too much more to do, other than the drawer pulls and decorating the walls. But nothing that HAS to be done before she comes! I’d love for it to be done, but her arrival is quickly approaching and we’ve got some other more important household projects to complete!
My birthday wasn’t the best birthday ever, as I had to work and I was in a HORRIBLE mood. But, thanks to my lovely hubby, I got chicken wings and sweet frog for lunch and that definitely helped my mood! We went to dinner that night with dad and I had my first drink since New Year’s Eve. Ahh a nice refreshing Sangria! I didn’t even drink it all – so for anyone who doesn’t like the idea, trust me, I didn’t overdo it! The next night, Kile and Uncle Wayne came up to go to Dan’l Boone Inn and boy was it good! Baby loves having such a selection and unlimited refills! Well, I don’t know if she likes it, but momma sure does! We were also able to go to the Dierks Bentley concert at ASU as my birthday gift and it was an amazing show! He was very interactive with those drunk college kids at the stage and included the western mountain area in his introduction to songs and in songs a lot! Even though Shane didn’t like country music too much, even he really enjoyed himself!
This past weekend, we went to Charlotte for more shopping and some good ole family time! It was so nice to be able to hang out with those I don’t see very often! Uncle Wayne cooked some awesome food and then there was some delicious ice cream for dessert!! CAM wasn’t very active, but Britt and Jordan were able to feel her hiccup and they both were happy! It’s so funny because as soon as we got home, she started moving around so much! It’s like she knew I wanted her to move around and she was being spiteful and wouldn’t do it!
The next few weeks will be so incredibly exciting! I hope that time flies by and we’ll have a beautiful happy healthy baby girl!
